Modartech Institute is a Consortium (Scarl) born on the initiative of the Training Agency Urban Valdera and the Town Administration of Pontedera, both willing to support and develop educational initiatives in Fashion Design and clothing planning, Communication and Footwear, realizing with the firm training and chain projects finalised to the development of youth employment and therefore to the enforcement of the sector of intervention.

For the Municipal Administration of Pontedera this is a very important step to confirm once more their attention towards those production sectors thought to be strategic for the territory and the youth employment. These sectors offer real job’s opportunities other than commerce, engineering industry or any already well developed sector in the Valdera Area.

For Urban Valdera this represents the climax of 30 years experience working in the creative youth training field and the formalization of consolidated relations with the numerous firms operating within the territory and the municipal administration. A spread collaboration aiming at offering to young people real occupational prospects of higher and higher quality.

The Town Administration of Pontedera, leader administration in the Valdera territory, assisting at the concentration of an increasing number of employees in the textile-clothing sector and footwear sector, and an increasing number of new jobs related to marketing communication and new computer technologies.
