Pontedera, July 18th, 2008 – Today, the Privilege Partnership between Modartech and Lectra has been officially announced .

During the fashion show organized by Modartech on July the 18th in Pontedera, at the Piaggio’s museum, Modartech’s students will present their creations in front of the Region representatives and many industrials belonging to the footwear and fashion market. A section has been dedicated to the announcement of the Privilege Partnership between Lectra and Modartech: the partnership’s signature has been announced by Alessandro Bertini, head of Modartech together with Caterina Rorro, Marketing Director Lectra Italy.

Modartech is a center of educational excellence, closely linked to the world of business, offering innovative and hands-on teaching methods, focusing on the latest technologies. They are one of the few school in Italy concentrating on Footwear and Leather goods.

Modartech offers post-diploma specialization courses in Shoes Fashion Design and Engineering, CAD pattern making and fashion design, consisting of lessons and seminars regarding industrial and pattern techniques, while all the practical laboratories are held directly in the companies, who are Partners of the school. The next step is making the student an “innovation promoter”. Each course includes an internship period during which students can be the bearer of introducing innovation in the company.
For this specific reason offer their fashion and footwear design students the possibility of using their personal laptops (supplied by the school) exclusively with Lectra products.
Lectra, is pleased to announce the signature of a “Privilege” partnership with the renowned Modartech, in Pontedera, Italy.

The agreement with Modartech was signed within this framework. “We are very proud to count Modartech among our privilege partners.
