Summer Fashion Base is a summer course thought for people willing to approach the world of creating Fashion Collection using their free time in the summer months, especially in July.
Download Brochure: Summer Fashion Base »»» Summer Course The project Summer Fashion Base is a summer course thought for people willing to approach the world of creating Fashion Collection using their free time in the summer months, especially in July. Student will attend a range of training programs covering all the production processes of the clothing industry, from the stylistic investigation to the tailoring of an item of clothing, using a practical approach that will give them the competence required to access more advanced and specialized educational programs. At the end of the course each student could share his own impressions and expectations with an expert in educational pathways in the Fashion sector of Modartech Institute to evaluate a personalized and effective training plan. Learning pathwayFASHION PLATE MAKING Key concepts for the professional realization of a fashion plate The characteristics of a technical chart STYLISTIC INVESTIGATION The basic steps for a creative investigation Basic concepts of “Fashion and Communication” The most important shows of the sector: How, Where and Why to be there PATTERN MAKING The basic principles of pattern making Industrial and tailoring pattern making TAILORING Basic techniques of cutting and sewing Knowledge of the machineries used in tailoring Tailoring of a skirt VISITS Visits to important firms of 'Made in Italy' fashion products. Training Methodology Theoretical lessons, workshop, visits to firms The single course will be carried on by professionals and teachers with a well-established work and teaching experience in this sector. So their approach will be finalized to provide constantly updated technical competences, which can be helpful in the prompt insertion in working contexts. The Institute puts at participants’ disposal all the didactical materials in digital format, downloadable from the dedicated section in Modartech portal. At the moment of enrolling each participant will receive a personal password to free access the dedicated section, where all the course related texts, images and video can be found. With the same password students can also access the self-marketing portal offered by the Institute. Here they can place curricula, profiles and works, being this an auto-promotion instruments which represents a reference point for all the Modartech Group companies looking for trained personnel. Timetable and durationThe whole month of july. Every day from 2.30 pm to 6.30 p.m Synergy and Cooperation Modartech is a public-private Consortium joining together training professionals with a network of firms continuously evolving and growing in this sector. Technicians and entrepreneurs of some of the most representative companies of the sectors of intervention are members of the Technical Scientific Committee and collaborate to the training planning to guarantee learning pathways in line with market’s requirements. The same companies, available for internships, consider the Institute as the ideal partner to find trained young people and their point of reference for the constant training of their own personnel. |
