Professional ProfileHe manages all the required steps up to the prototype realization integrating Design Office proposals with Production’s needs. He has got a specific competence in models realization, in models shape transformations and in prototypes realization. He has in depth competences in the new computer technologies CAD D2 & 3D, Plottering, Cutting and of the tools for the engineering and the management of the international production. The manager of Footwear Design is a professional figure deeply informed on work technologies and techniques besides the production cycle of the footwear sector, including the work stages for leather tannery and production procedures. He is able to distinguish different leathers, to use instruments, tools and materials, to carry out the elaboration and the on paper design, to realize patterns, to ideate and to understand the Design lines, to manage the warehouses, the patterns and the parameters with computer devices. He mainly is employed by footwear factories or in the profession even as an associate professional. Requisites for course admissionDidactic ProgramKnowledge and Competences in professional technical area The Shoe Project Manager is a strategic figure in the Footwear sector. He uses creative skills and, thanks to his technical knowledge which will allow him to realize a Prototype, he will transform the project in product. This is the work of the modern designer, and therefore our course’s aim, which can be reached thanks to the presence of experts and professionals acquainted with all the aspects of the job and willing to pass them over to new and fresh talents. Being able to carry out a project, to organise and follow all the steps to the realisation of the project, are the important elements of a training pathway which will guide the student to the realisation of a full collection of footwear products. The main technical subjects the participant will develop and acquire, are:
Control and check tools ISO 2001 Drawings Designs and projects come-out Training Methodology Theoretical lessons, workshop, visits to firms The single course will be carried on by professionals and teachers with a well-established work and teaching experience in this sector. So their approach will be finalized to provide constantly updated technical competences, which can be helpful in the prompt insertion in working contexts. The Institute puts at participants’ disposal all the didactical materials in digital format, downloadable from the dedicated section in Modartech portal. At the moment of enrolling each participant will receive a personal password to free access the dedicated section, where all the course related texts, images and video can be found. With the same password students can also access the self-marketing portal offered by the Institute. Here they can place curricula, profiles and works, being this an auto-promotion instruments which represents a reference point for all the Modartech Group companies looking for trained personnel. Duration and Timetable Starting date: October. 4 days a week from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm Synergy and Cooperation Modartech is a public-private Consortium joining together training professionals with a network of firms continuously evolving and growing in this sector. Technicians and entrepreneurs of some of the most representative companies of the sectors of intervention are members of the Technical Scientific Committee and collaborate to the training planning to guarantee learning pathways in line with market’s requirements.
