Originality, creativity and speed! Here are the key words in fashion illustration, a form of communication that adopts an immediate, highly expressive and effective language.

Transforming ideas into projects, supported by the latest generation tools and technologies that have changed the techniques of drawing, combining the sensation of creating freehand with the precision and cleanliness of digital illustration.

The meeting “Accessories Digital Illustration”, organized by Istituto Modartech in the context of Fashion Graduate Italia, aims to present a realistic representation adopted in the creative and productive process of fashion accessories, creating sketches, drawings and compositions in a natural and intuitive way, discovering the main techniques for the digital tablet illustration of shoes and bags. In particular, starting from a realistic model, digital illustration will allow us to derive a vector drawing, adopting the techniques and working on shapes, textures and proportions. Setting the work according to your style and the product you want to get.

Focus on:
– perspective, proportions and volumes of objects
– alterations, lights and shadows, compositions
– insertion of real textures and digital design applications
– representation of various types of materials (opaque-shiny leather and fabrics)
– variations on the same model

The final part of the lesson includes the possibility for the participants to carry out drawing tests on Wacom graphic tablets.
