Istituto Modartech believes in the strength of collaborations with companies and organizations involving their students in educational projects.

This is how the classrooms of the Fashion & Communications School of Pontedera become a breeding ground for project work that often take the form of real corporate communication campaigns.

This is the case of the new project that involved the students of the Communication Design course in collaboration with the Pontedera – Volterra Transfusion Center on the most innovative theme of the moment “The transport of blood with drones in an emergency”. Theme that aims to develop a strong social involvement, raising awareness among citizens.

The students were asked to define a graphic format for the creation of a poster for the communication of services and processes defined by the Pontedera – Volterra Transfusion Center with the coordination of Dr. Fabrizio Niglio, presented later to the SIMTI National Congress (Italian society Transfusion Medicine ) 2019.

“Communication Design students of Istituto Modartech have developed the fabulous idea of the same graphic and communicative concept so that all the posters could be recognized as an expression of the same hand.”

The project coordinator Dr. Fabrizio Niglio, Specialist in Hematology and Director of UOS Immunohematology and Transfusion Pontedera-Volterra, stressed this.

The concept of identity that emerged from the projects is liked so much that, again this year, we won the first prize for best work. I therefore take the opportunity to thank the whole Istituto Modartech for the precious and fruitful collaboration.”

The graphic drawings were presented at the SIMTI National Congress (Italian Society of Transfusion Medicine) 2019 where the project “Model of virtuous management of albumin requests” won the first prize SIMTI.

Among the reasons for the award we wanted to emphasize the modern and effective visual rendering of the graphic design and the presentation with a multidisciplinary approach.
