The students of the Communication Design course awarded at the social contest launched by MUDEC.
On the occasion of the publication of the volume “The Coloring Book”, published by 24 ORE Cultura, Mudec Education launched the social contest “The Coloring Book. Art returns to art “involving the public to creatively answer the question:” Why do we need art? “.
The students of the first grades of the Three-year Course of Communication Design responded to the creative open call by reinterpreting the book cover that reproduces the L.O.V.E. created by the artist Maurizio Cattelan for “The Coloring Book”.
The young creatives fielded techniques and skills learned during lessons, educational workshops and project work, playing with the use of color, graphics, digital illustration and words in order to communicate a personal and emotional reflection on the particular historical moment that we are experiencing A creative response that has hit the mark: among the 50 most significant drawings, 6 of our students stand out.
The works of the participants now make up a digital wall visible on the MUDEC website and social channels. A great collective work of art in the form of a digital mosaic, an emotional map capable of returning values and feelings related to our need for art and a personal and emotional reflection on the particular historical moment we are experiencing.
