Istituto Modartech promotes projects and works carried out by its students with various initiatives. In particular, the event at the conclusion of the courses represents a unique opportunity for visibility.
Fashion shows, photo shoots, static installations, interviews, project presentation meetings in the presence of the press, entrepreneurs and sector experts represent a framework that allows students of the courses of Fashion, Footwear and Communication to express their talent, ready to confront themselves with the world of work.
Modartech Fashion Show also represents an important appointment in the contemporary perspective of networking and synergy between the network of Partners created over time composed of professionals, consultants and companies, some of which involved in the realization of the event.
Digital Fashion Show 2020 | The Values
The first Digital Fashion Show of an academic institution: a digital preview of the collections created by the students of the Fashion Design course.
At the heart of the creations “The Values“, a personal reinterpretation of Craftsmanship, Heritage, Technology and Innovation, Sustainability, Social Responsibility, Diversity and Inclusion, values that are part of the Institute’s DNA.

Modartech Fashion Show 2019 | Futur Is
A show that involved over 1000 guests: innovation, technology and craftsmanship were the protagonists of the event with the creations of the students of the courses Fashion Design e Fashion Technology-CAD Apparel Pattern Making.
Futur Is is the theme that inspired our designers who, thanks to the combination of materials and craftsmanship and innovative workmanship combined with stylistic research, created proposals that look to the future. A future told and interpreted starting from the past, the origins and the rediscovery of the roots to reach a vision of innovation, progress and ideological manifestos. In a melting pot that will shape a unique and borderless future.
New in this edition is the launch of the Modartech Collection 2019, of the 2nd year students of Fashion Design. A Modartech branded capsule collection that for the first time sees the Institute’s logo become a real brand, and that makes space between sweatshirts, k-ways, leggings and streetwear garments. The predominant color is white alternating with neon accents from orange to coral, from lime to water color, in full trend SS2020.

Modartech Fashion Show | Respons-Ability
On the catwalk, new visions, materials and innovative approaches of the Institute’s young students.
Focus on the project RESPONS-ABILITY, where the art of know-how and creative inspiration are combined with respect for the environment, ethics and social values. Capsule collection characterized by high experimental ability, enhancing craftsmanship, tradition, workmanship and handmade details.
New creative paths lead to responsible choices such as zero-kilometer materials, natural, eco-sustainable, recycled, as well as social attention and concrete participation in projects with high ethical values. Innovators also in the choice of technical materials with high performance, creating creative wearable technology projects.
Modartech Fashion Show 2017 | Sustainable Vision
Stimulating and reinventing supply chains, accompanying the epochal transition towards a circular economy: this is the goal that the Modartech Institute’s project arises through the fashion and creativity of young talents.
A change of mentality and a conscious choice where environmental awareness, ethics and social responsibility are an extension of the concept of quality, enhancing research, traceability and reuse in all its forms.
Fundamental for the realization of the projects some important partnerships with local companies, which provided raw materials and inexhaustible sources of inspiration. Waste Recycling – SCART with the recovery of waste materials in an artistic experimentation project and Esanastri with the textile graphic design print on hemp and cotton sweatshirts.

Modartech Fashion Show 2016 | Vespa Style Creative Project
Sixty centuriers haute couture , modern “riders 3.0” wearing garments that revisit the suggestions of the “dolce vita” thanks to sustainable materials and hi-tech manufacturing. A fashion show tribute to the first 70 years of the Vespa, born in 1946, has become an icon of Italian design thanks to over 18 million copies spread all over the world. A tribute to Italian know-how translated into the contemporary world, between design and heritage, technology, innovation and sustainability with a strong focus on creativity, tailoring, technological experimentation and attention to the product.
Modartech Fashion Show 2015 | Fashion Forward
Modartech Fashion Show looks to the future: special focus on the project created by the students waiting for the Robotics Atelier, an infrastructure of the Istituto di BioRobotica della Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna which consolidates Pontedera’s vocation as a city of innovation, design and culture.
Robotics, science and technology are the common thread that inspired the creative project carried out by the students of Fashion Design course of Istituto Modartech.
The Fashion Show featured shoe prototypes that make up the students’ collection of the Shoes in Italy course – Techniques for making handmade Made in Italy footwear, IFTS project funded by the Tuscany Region, subject of presentation at the next edition of LineaPelle in Milan .
A selection of works presented at the Fashion Show was also presented at Expo 2015, in the area dedicated to Valdera for Expo in Milan, which will see the presence of excellence of the Valdera.
