Observe where others can only see […] There is an instant in which all the elements that move are in balance […] It is an illusion that the photos are made with the machine … they are made with the eyes, with the heart, with the head”.
Henri Cartier-Bresson

What does it mean to photograph?
Taking pictures means writing with light.
Like any form of writing, photography also has its own grammatical rules, which you need to know.

The meeting aims to provide a brief introduction of the basic elements of photographic knowledge by examining the light and the different types of light, the exposure and the optics to be used for different types of shots in the fashion world.

The workshop will focus on “Fashion Photography”: how to organize a photographic set in the studio or location and also outside, the relationship between photographer – Art-director and the various figures on the set.
The different types of fashion photos will be studied in depth: editorial, commercial and reportage.
Deepening of the photographic language.
