An advanced training program for the Fashion Product professional of the future

Structured over a two-year specialist program, this course provides both theoretical knowledge and practical skills aimed at equipping students with all the tools necessary to manage the entire fashion product development process, from the creative concept to final production.

Through a consultancy and project-based approach, participants will be guided in the creation of their own collection, from development to market launch, supported by effective strategies in design, communication and brand promotion.

Who the program is aimed at

The course is intended for candidates holding at least a Bachelor’s degree or First Level Academic Diploma, or any foreign qualification recognized as suitable according to current regulations and aligned with the course objectives.

Career opportunities

The program aims to train professionals in the fashion system, enabling them to work as Fashion Designers launching their own brands, as Product Managers within international fashion companies, or as consultants in independent practice.

Career paths are also open for coordination roles such as production managers or quality control managers. Graduates will also be qualified to pursue careers in academic teaching and research through university teaching or doctoral programs (Phd).

Internship

The curricular internship is a key milestone in the academic journey of the Fashion Product Management Master of Arts. Thanks to a well-established network of over 1,000 partner companies, Istituto Modartech offers personalized internship opportunities both in Italy and abroad, tailored to each student’s area of specialization.

Through ongoing collaborations with leading high-fashion brands and renowned industry professionals, students gain the chance to work side by side with creatives and experts for a period of three to six months, immersing themselves fully in the heart of the fashion industry.

Application procedure

Enrollment is limited to ensure a high-quality educational experience. Admission is based on the evaluation of academic qualifications and a motivational/interview, which may take place in person or online, depending on the candidate’s needs. To apply for selection, candidates must submit: Curriculum vitae, Portfolio and Bachelor’s degree certificate or First Level Academic Diploma with a transcript of records.

Visa and permit of stay

Istituto Modartech has a dedicated International Admissions Office that assists students throughout the entire process of obtaining their visa and residence permit. The office provides support at every stage, ensuring a smooth transition for international students. Upon arrival, students will also receive assistance with practical matters such as health insurance, opening a bank account, and more.

Services for off-site students

Istituto Modartech offers strong support for out-of-town students, with services to make living and studying away from home easier.

We assist in finding the most suitable accommodation – from shared apartments in Pontedera and nearby towns, to student housing in Pisa (15 minutes by train), or even in Florence (about 40 minutes away).

To ease the transition, we connect incoming students before the start of classes to help form groups for shared housing.
We also offer personalized tuition discounts and access to dedicated study spaces including labs, classrooms, the Modartech archive and the Giovanni Gronchi Library.
