Fashion Designer

The Fashion Designer is a designer who imagines, projects and designs fashion collections and complete outfits. A creative figure of excellence is the one who proposes the concept that inspires the collection; its main task is to create garments by choosing fabrics, yarns and possible accessories.
It is a professional figure able to combine creativity, knowledge of fashion and market trends, economic parameters, technical skills of the project and development of the fashion product.
The fashion designer can carry out his activities both as a freelancer and as a collaborator or employee of companies in the fashion industry.

Cool Hunter

The Cool Hunter, or Trend Researcher, is a relatively new professional figure, but certainly one of the great rise of the fashion system.
It is a professional who analyzes markets and society, observes and documents new trends, captures inspiring characteristics and provides insights, thus helping companies move in the right direction.
The trend researcher travels the world in search of new styles (shapes, materials, colors…) and provides creative, through the processing of photographic reportage (the trend books), hints, ideas, data on which design new lines of fashion products.

Pattern Maker

The apparel or shoes pattern maker is a highly sought after professional in the fashion industry; it is the link between the designer and the product. Its work consists of developing the creative models of the fashion designer. It is a designer who, using traditional tools and innovative technological programs (such as CAD), turns what the designer imagines into reality. The pattern maker is therefore a predominantly technical figure that realizes the model taking into consideration both the technical aspects of production and the creative indications of the designer.

Stylist

Professional who works closely with stylists, editors and celebrities to enhance and enhance the garments of a collection in a fashion show, an advertising campaign or a promotional event, understanding the designer’s vision, communicating the soul of a garment and making aesthetic choices that can convey its distinctive style.

The fashion sector is experiencing profound transformations linked both to the advent of new markets and to the implementation of new tools available to brands. This increasingly focuses attention on the importance of training.

It is necessary to develop a broad knowledge of all the sectors of fashion and an in-depth specialization of the sector both in productive and commercial terms and in marketing. The acquisition of technical skills and specialist practices of the profession is also fundamental.
