An educational graphic design project for the magazine “The Players” designed by the students of the Communication Design Course.
The traditional lessons of Istituto Modartech alternate with exercises and project work in collaboration with brands and companies related to fashion and communication.
This is the case of the “The Players” project which saw the participation of the students of the Triennial Communication Design Course struggling with an editorial graphics exercise on the fashion, lifestyle and trends magazine “The Players” distributed in the most famous fairs in the sector fashion from Pitti Firenze to Première Vision Paris.
The designers designed the magazine’s head and internal pages using the graphics programs reflecting the mood, style and soul of the magazine.
An exercise of graphic and editorial rebranding that allowed the boys to give voice to their creative soul and touch different digital techniques.
The students started from a graphic moodboard that recalled the colors, styles and lettering of the magazine, moving on to the study of the color and lettering of the logo and then ending with the graphic design of the cover, the head and the layout of a page inside the magazine.
A way to experiment the design of an editorial and design product in a path of analysis, research and laboratory experience that has always characterized the teaching of Istituto Modartech.
