Event dedicated to design, from communication, to product design up to the world of fashion

Crea©tivity is the Festival that every year sees hundreds of students in the splendid setting of the Piaggio Museum in a creative exchange with the protagonists of important companies.

SMART FUTURE

This edition’s focus is on the use of intelligent and low-impact solutions to create more effective and ecological products and services, reducing waste, particularly in the fashion sector; innovative upcycling and circular design solutions.

As part of the WorkOut – Workshop Area Fashion, tutors and teachers made their professionalism, creativity and experience available.

In the Expo Area, the garments designed by the students of the Fashion Design degree course as part of the creative project created with the company Com.I.Stra, which has been involved in the trade and transformation of regenerated wool from textile waste for four generations.

Congratulations to the students of the degree course in Communication Design for the awards awarded to the universities: first prize for the “Ecoback” project and special mention for the “SheTag” project.

CWonder Line

Istituto Modartech was involved as promoter and organizer of the area dedicated to Fashion, offering its experience available to participants during the event.

In the Expo Area, the “Inside My Meta” fashion collection was presented: the concept of this project is based on the new frontier of virtual experiences, the Metaverse, through inspirations from the world of gaming,anime, and hi-tech. Focus also at the Pecha Kucha Night where the talents of the Communication Design course they presented an educational project.

First prize in the INTERACTION category to the “Touch and clean” project created by the students of Fashion Design course. Special mention also to the project “Live and go” by the first year students of the Communication Design course.

Transeetion

The theme ties together the reflections and activities of the event between visions and contradictions in the upcoming transitions, a call to action, between objectives and perplexities.

Istituto Modartech was involved as coordinator and organizer of the Fashion & Communication Design and opened the event with a talk, in which academics, professionals and creatives participated, on the topics of sustainability, technology and inclusivity.

The opening Open Conference was attended by Leonardo Cappello, researcher at the Institute of Biorobotics, Silvia Gambi, journalist and founder of Solo Moda Sostenabile, and Emilia Torcini, Fashion Design student and winner of the Vogue Talents Award 2021.

During the event Istituto Modartech was awarded for the Fashion & Communication Design in the University category. Furthermore, he won first prize for the project “Metafashion” created by the students of Communication Design course and a special mention for the “TRANSBIO” project created by the students of Fashion Design course.

Re-connection | Digital Edition

A digital version of the event, inserted in a continuously updated online portal where interventions linked to the themes of training, orientation and entrepreneurship aimed at the new generations took turns.

In the opening Open Conference, Matteo Minà, professor of Istituto Modartech, MF Fashion journalist, spoke as a speaker, while in the Workout Fashion & Communication, the teachers of the Institute have made their professionalism, creativity and experience available.

As part of the Design Area, the Institute presented, through a virtual exhibition, a selection of projects created by students.

Two special prizes obtained during the workshop: first prize for the project “Protect what you love for a fearless and more connected future” by Cecilia Colcaof the Fashion Design course. Furthermore, a special mention goes to the “Local Mind” project created by the 1st year students of Communication Design course: Giulia Polacci, Lucrezia Rossi, Giada Zambernardi.

Conn•Action

At the Open Conference, the lawyer spoke as speakers from the Fashion Area. Luca Giannini, owner Giannini & Associati and Alessandro Drudi, HR manager Aeffe Group. Also engaging was the performance of the actor Roberto Ciufoli, in the role of Corradino D’Ascanio, creator of the Vespa, symbol of Italian design.

In the Expo Area, the fashion collection created by the students of the course was presented CAD Clothing Pattern Maker Dark Heritage Collection“, inspired by the work of the great gurus of international fashion and characterized by geometries and volumes in a play of contrasts. Focus also at the Pecha Kucha Night where the students of the Communication Design course presented an educational project.

Congratulations to the students of the course Fashion Design who they won two special prizes: first prize with the project “Relup“ and special mention with the project “The Connection Change“< /em>. Also mention for the communication area and the “Role Play“ project.

[De]Materialization

The Open Conference was attended by Marcela Frias, Warda Group, the platform that supports the business of companies in the fashion, luxury and retail sector and Marco Ruffa, Marketing and Communications Director Peuterey.

In the Expo Area, the fashion collection created by the students of the Fashion Design course was presented “Artisanal Technology, a capsule collection characterized by craftsmanship, tradition, with handmade workmanship and details.

Congratulations to the students of the Fashion Design course who won two special prizes: first award with the project “Synesthesia“ and special mention with the project “Multimedia Dresses“.

C+Hybridesign

Technical hybridization, creative hybridization, social hybridization. Hybrid Design as a moment of exchange and comparison, a journey into territories where synergies, meetings and contaminations become fertile design language.

Steve Luccisano, MaCoEV, spoke at the Open Conference and spoke about Hybrid in the world of fashion: from creative processes to business models to sales forms , up to professional figures. In the closing plenary conferencepresent Marco Casali, Modartech partner, with a contribution to CAD_Lumiscaphe Strategies, focusing attention on real objects and virtual contents, in the context of sharing products and online web configurations, dedicated to the world of fashion and design.

In the Expo Area, the fashion collection created by the students of the Fashion Design course presented “Sustainable Message“, founded on the concept of quality through the valorization of research, traceability and reuse in all its forms.

Congratulations to Modartech students who won three special prizes: first prize for the “IDRAproject in the Product section, special mention with the “project Nostalgic Future” in the Communication section, special mention with the project “The Coin Coat” in the Fashion section.

Inspired by Tesla

Istituto Modartech becomes one of the promoters of the event as well as taking care of the Fashion area, as usual. The Institute was present in various contexts: in the opening Open Conference, with an excellent keynote speaker Alessandra Carta, Fashion Designer and Visual Merchandising Consultant and Creative Director of the Modartech Institute and in the closing Plenary Conference, in which the Institute presented some educational projects developed during the course. of the year by Modartech students in collaboration with top Made in Italy brands.

In the Expo Area, the fashion collection created by the students of the Fashion Design course was presented Vespa Style Creative Project, a tribute to the first 70 years of the Vespa through the use of sustainable materials and hi-tech workmanship.

Congratulations to the students of the Fashion Design course for the special mention to the project “Mosaic”.

Istituto Modartech attended the Open Conference with keynote speakers such as Caterina Rorro, Marketing & Comunication Director of Lectra Italia and Alessandra Carta, Fashion Designer and Visual Merchandising Consultant and Creative Director of the Modartech Institute; as part of the WorkOut – Workshop Area Fashion, making the professionalism of its teachers available.

The opening of the workshop with a keynote of excellence: Stefano Dominella, President Gattinoni and Scientific Director of the Modartech Institute, to stimulate the participants with visions, scenarios and design ideas.

To complete the presence in the exhibition focused on the Excellences of Tuscany, the fashion collection created by the students of the Fashion Design courseFashion Forward – Waiting for Robotics Atelierinspired by the Robotics Atelier of the BioRobotics Institute of the Sant Scuola Superiore ‘Anna.
