Lectra Project in collab with Peuterey e Modartech

A project work that combines stylistic research, CAD design and modeling, supported by cutting-edge industry technology

The Fashion Design students were engaged in creating a mini collection of outerwear inspired by the brief from the renowned fashion company Peuterey.

With the support of Lectra, a French multinational specializing in integrated technological solutions and known for using cutting-edge software for garment design, the focus was on designing, modeling, and creating a men’s and women’s outerwear piece that reflects the essence and vision of the fashion brand’s collections.

Mood boards, illustrations, and technical sketches were created using the innovative Lectra Kaledo software, while the modeling was executed using Modaris software. The final garment production was entrusted to Peuterey directly.

Two winners emerged from the contest: Mirgena Koci, from the Fashion Design area, with her collection “Urban Retro” inspired by the 1960s/1970s, particularly influenced by the works of Lucio Fontana, featuring cuts and geometries that blend comfort with sophistication. Mirgena received a Lectra Modaris license and the opportunity to collaborate within Peuterey’s style office; Elisa Nami, from the CAD Clothing Pattern Maker area, developed a prototype focusing on cuts, shapes, and volumes. Elisa received a Lectra Modaris license for creating her own collections and the opportunity to train at Lectra’s Milan office with a company technician.
