The course

If you are passionate about Shoe Design, a study experience in Italy is a must.

In the Shoe Design& Pattern-making course, you will learn about both traditional and innovative methods of shoe design, as well as creating  patterns for various types of footwear

This intensive  Summer course program combines design creativity with hands-on skills, thanks to a creative and laboratorial approach; it covers the basics of design, research for market trends, footwear digital illustration, footwear graphic design and pattern making. Visits to tanneries and footwear companies complete the experience.

Attending a Footwear Design summer course at Istituto Modartech means being immersed in the territorial context of one of the most important fashion districts in Italy, renowned as the heart of  Tuscan Leather Production.

Course realized with the collaboration of Veronica Solivellas, creator of the Shoes Trend Book, one of the best international notebooks on trends and design proposals for footwear creations.

Career Opportunities
