Modartech for Outside

A project that combines denim, upcycling, and creativity for a new Made in Italy

The students of the Fashion Design degree program at Istituto Modartech took center stage in a special project in collaboration with Outside, an Italian company that blends traditional craftsmanship with innovation in the denim sector.

This initiative offered students a hands-on, workshop-based experience, guiding them through every phase of the design process: from concept development to fabric selection, all the way to the final creation of the garment. The young creatives developed outfits using denim fabrics provided by the company and enhanced selected garments through upcycling techniques. The project celebrated research, design skills, and Italian craftsmanship, with the goal of enriching the educational journey through a focus on creativity, sustainability, and experimentation.

Among the various projects, RITMUS OTII stood out, earning recognition for its originality, attention to detail, conceptual coherence, and overall project presentation.

The final garments were showcased during the Creative Exhibition “LINK | Tribute to Made in Italy”, the closing event of the academic year.
