Istituto Modartech takes the spotlight at the 11th edition of Milano Moda Graduate, the prestigious event organized by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and dedicated to the top talents from Italy’s leading fashion and design schools.
Representing the Institute in the YKK category—the event’s main partner—are Jacopo Fé and Valentina Allegri, students from the Fashion Design Bachelor’s Degree program. The two young designers will each present an outfit from their collection before an international jury made up of industry entrepreneurs, journalists, and buyers, who will decide the winner.
Jacopo enters the competition with “Engarde”, a collection that blends the spirit of streetwear with the technical elegance of fencing. His pieces feature performance fabrics and contrasting details in copper, denim, and chainmail, creating a dynamic dialogue between tradition and innovation.
Valentina presents “Thalassa”, a collection inspired by the fear of deep waters, translated into a visual concept that merges lightweight, breathable materials with 3D-printed custom accessories and a contemporary, functional aesthetic.
In addition to the fashion show, the two finalists will participate in a series of meetings, including a workshop with YKK and a visit to the company’s production hub in Vercelli—an exclusive opportunity to engage with the industrial and creative worlds of fashion.
This important recognition reaffirms Istituto Modartech’s excellence in education and the high creative standard of its students within the Italian fashion scene.
