The collections and accessories created by the students of the Fashion Design degree course at Istituto Modartech will take center stage at Lineapelle FAIR, the most important international event dedicated to leather, accessories, components, and innovative materials. The exhibition area will be open to visitors from September 23 to 25 at Milano Rho Fiera, during Milan Fashion Week.
The spotlight will be on lamb, calf, and cowhide leather, enhanced by artisanal treatments that transform into expressions of uniqueness, highlighting a material and sensorial dimension. Among the featured projects stands out “Senza età” by Anita Falorni, winner of the Lineapelle Leather Award 2025. Her collection celebrates mature femininity, free from stereotypes, through the use of fine leathers processed with craquelé and aging techniques for an authentic, lived-in effect.
Alongside her, several Modartech Graduates will present research and experimentation:
-
Vittoria Colledan with “No phones just vibes!!”, inspired by the industrial aesthetic of Berlin’s clubs, with leathers treated with cement/plaster to alter their surfaces.
-
Misbah Bonci with “Still me”, drawing from the traditions of the Suri people, reinterpreting and treating animal leather as a symbol of identity and protection.
-
Anna Puccioni with “SK!NK”, a collection that emphasizes craftsmanship and sustainability, using leather scraps and deadstock fabrics enriched with resin and piercing details.
-
Melissa Puccetti with “Veins of time”, an intimate journey between memory and innovation, where hand-worked leather with laser effects takes on new tactile and sensorial dimensions.
-
Francesca Rovini with “Crocodylia”, exploring resilience and inner strength through crocodile-textured printed leathers, the result of artisanal and sustainable processes.
This selection represents a prestigious showcase of Modartech’s creativity and educational excellence, where artisanal tradition meets contemporary innovation.
