The exploration of the taboo surrounding tattoos and piercings in the workplace takes shape through a blend of formal and alternative styles. The silhouettes of 1980s business women are updated with the contemporary “siren office” aesthetic. The importance of craftsmanship and unique garments, made from scrap leather and deadstock fabrics, are emphasized. Skirts, trousers, and outerwear make up the offering, with the latter taking center stage: printed in UV resin to evoke the effect of a healed tattoo and enriched with piercing dilators in place of traditional haberdashery.
