Sustainability and Craftsmanship protagonists of next generation Fashion.

Istituto Modartech will participate in Firenze Home Texstyle from 1st to 4th April, an event aimed to all key players in the world of homestyle and the textile furniture sector and that welcomes buyers, interior designers, concept stores, furniture shops, journalists, influencers and manufacturing companies. Key points of the edition: innovation, sustainability and culture of textiles.

The sustainable capsule collection by Sara Pupi, the young designer just graduated in Fashion Design, has been selected within the fair and will become a textile work on display in the “Hall of Wonders” at Unique Texstyle, the special project that saw the creation of a space reserved for unique and iconic pieces borrowed from some of the most important historical and internationally recognized Italian manufactories and museums.

“On Back To Roots” is the name chosen by Sara for the line of garments which is inspired by the concept of “back to origins” composed of magnificent and original fabrics made by hand thanks to the use of ancient looms.
A craftsmanship in warp and weft, the result of in-depth research on weaving techniques, gives value to the collection made up of natural materials, soft cuts, vegetable fibers and eco-sustainable dyes.

“Making sustainable clothes is no longer just a need that looks to the future, but a trend in the world of fashion” says the designer. “The most significant experience was learning weaving techniques, making the warp, assembling the loom, evaluating the weaving fibers and learning a precious trade.”

This is how each piece of her becomes a work of art because it is unique and alone.
