From 14 to 17 June in the Zerosettanta space at Pitti Uomo 102 the outfits created by creative talents from the degree course in Fashion Design.
Istituto Modartech strengthens the link between creative excellence and business realities belonging to the Made in Italy district thanks to dedicated educational projects. For this reason, it is a short step from the study rooms to the temple of the fashion system: the next edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo confirms the collaboration between Istituto Modartech and Zerosettanta Studio, the historic brand of the Landi family.
An educational project that combines research, experimentation and planning and which involved a group of third-year students of the Degree Course in Fashion Design, leading to the selection of the projects of Erika Guarino and Carlotta Citi. The promising designers have conceived and developed a line of dedicated garments that will be exhibited at the fair in front of agents, international buyers and the press and then enter the market in the Spring Summer 2023 collection of the Landi brand.
Inspired by the values and flavors of Tuscany, the seasonless collection designed by Erika Guarino consists of garments that pay homage to the shapes of the traditional Butteri outerwear with a contemporary twist between hi-tech fabrics, vintage details, light and synthetic padding. Proposals suitable to be worn in the city or during an open air weekend.
Sustainability, tradition and second hand are the starting points of Carlotta Citi‘s men’s sportswear collection. Casual shapes and textures stand out, versatile garments and mix of prints that recall a comfortable and identifying urban and metropolitan style with elements that surprise the viewer with aesthetic, tactile and visual contrasts.
The project, in addition to giving the students of Istituto Modartech the opportunity to work in the company, designing the new one, respecting production times and methods, becomes an opportunity for exclusive international visibility and a way to get in direct contact with the realities of the world of retail, companies, talent scouts, press and industry professionals.
