Luca Nacci and his DOGMA22 collection

Luca Nacci wins MM International Award, in the Bronze Prize student category, an award that places him among the most promising talents in fashion. Thanks to his collection called “Dogma22”, which through the contemporary reinterpretation of vintage tailored suits for men, wants to create a more responsible and sustainable fashion. In fact, 90% of the components used in the Nacci capsule collection are obtained from unsold warehouse inventory, an element that highlights the great attention to the environment in each creation.

The collection

Dogma22 is a Fashion Manifesto: the key inspiration from which the garments come to life is the Dogma 95 cinematographic movement. A line increasingly distant from seasonality which dictates new rules for a more responsible fashion in which clothes must be wearable and during the time. A reinterpretation of vintage tailored clothes in a contemporary key between upcycling and craftsmanship. Technical fabrics are mixed with details and artisanal workmanship such as manual needle punching and pied de poule. Great attention is given to modeling and the study of shapes and volumes. For Generation Z, it’s time to make themselves heard.
