Luigi Maggiorelli triumphs at the CNA Federmoda competition

Double victory for Luigi: overall award as best designer of the competition and winner in the clothing category

In the prestigious setting of the Royal Palace of Caserta, the final of the 35th National Competition Professione Moda Giovani Stilisti – RMI 2025, promoted by CNA Federmoda, took place. Claiming the top spot on the podium, winning both the overall prize and first place in the Clothing category, was Luigi Maggiorelli, a student of the Fashion Design degree program.

This major achievement once again confirms the Institute’s central role in shaping the new talents of Italian fashion. Now in its 35th edition, the competition stands as one of the most prestigious platforms for young designers, who are able to combine creativity, craftsmanship, and contemporary vision, with an increasingly strong focus on sustainability.

Luigi presented his collection “Nostalgia”, which weaves together memory and innovation, drawing inspiration from two seemingly distant trends: Grandpa Core and Bloke Core. The project stands out for its use of natural materials and artisanal techniques such as needle felting, spray painting, and manual weaving, resulting in unique, sustainable, and meaningful garments. It is a conscious proposal that celebrates slowness, respect for time, and the authenticity of handcrafted work.

With this new success, Modartech reaffirms itself as a hub of talent and innovation, pursuing a vision of fashion that is deeply attentive to social, cultural, and environmental evolution.
