From May 9 to 11, Istituto Modartech takes part in the Robotics Festival at the Stazione Leopolda in Pisa, showcasing innovative projects that merge fashion and advanced technology. A key highlight is the Master in Fashion Hi-Tech, developed in collaboration with the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. This program is designed to train professionals capable of integrating smart technologies and materials into the design of garments and accessories.
In the exhibition area, visitors can explore digital outfits, 3D-developed prototypes, and projects created using artificial intelligence, underscoring the increasingly central role of innovation in creative processes. The Orientation Team will be on hand to present details about the Master’s program, which begins in October.
The Festival also includes the international competition Pisa Robot Film Festival, dedicated to audiovisual works inspired by robotics and AI. Among the finalists are three students from the Communication Design degree program. Giada Mattiello presents the animated short “Every Question Has an A(I)nswer”, which explores the relationship between a teenager and AI as a daily guide. Rebecca Salvadori and Greta Canalella are competing with “Ask Artificial Intelligence”, a documentary reflecting on the contrast between usage and dependence on AI in contemporary life.
A unique opportunity to discover the future of fashion and communication through a dialogue between creativity and artificial intelligence.
