The Fashion Awards Celebrate Modartech’s Signature Talent

On the occasion of the final event, prestigious awards were presented to the young talents of the Fashion Design program

Once again this year, during the end-of-academic-year event, awards were presented to students from the Fashion Design degree program who stood out for their creativity, research, and ability to interpret the spirit of the times through their collections.

The Fashion Innovation Award 2025, curated by Pitti Immagine and awarded by Ivano Cauli, Innovation Director at Pitti, was given to Simona Fabbrini for her collection “COLdeLAINE.” Inspired by the traditional clothing of Alpine communities, the collection reinterprets mountain shapes and materials in a contemporary way, with a focus on wool as a sustainable and high-performance fiber.

The Leather Award 2025, promoted by Lineapelle and awarded by Giovanna Garavaglia, Head of Training at Lineapelle, went to Anita Falorni for her collection “SENZA ETÀ,” which explores the theme of mature femininity, free from stereotypes and social constraints.

Jacopo Fé won the Accessories Award 2025 with his collection “ENGARDE,” selected by a renowned accessories designer. The project blends the elegance of fencing with the energy of streetwear.

The Visual Merchandising Award was presented by Modartech to Matteo Buttiglieri for the collection “SERVING TH3 GAME,” a powerful visual narrative inspired by the outskirts of Gela and hip hop aesthetics. Finally, a Special Mention from the institute was awarded to Manuela Mezzanu for her collection “ESSERE ISOLA,” inspired by her Sardinian roots and touching on themes of labor, immigration, and resilience.
