Student Lei Ann Orsi of Istituto Modartech Fashion Design course is among the six winners of the Kia Designer Awards. The young designer will present her creative project during the Milan Fashion Week in September 2022.
The National Chamber of Italian Fashion e Kia have started a collaboration in order to give voice to emerging creativity to enhance its quality and innovation.
This is how the Kia Designers Awards were born, a prize aimed at emerging brands and students of Italian fashion schools.
The six winners of the contest will have the opportunity to undertake a mentoring path focused on innovation and new technologies, with a focus on topics such as: metaverse, gaming and space economy.
At the end of this journey they will create outfits that will be presented at the Milan Fashion Week in September 2022.
The rich jury saw illustrious figures such as Giuseppe Angiolini (Talent scout), Gianluca Cantaro (Condé Nast), Silvia Baruffaldi (Auto & Design), Chiara Bottoni (MF Fashion), Annagreta Panconesi (LuisaViaRoma ),Lee Hyeju (W Korea), Fabiana Giacomotti (Journalist) and Giuseppe Mazzara (Kia Italia) give their contribution to proclaiming the six winners.
On the occasion of Fashion week, 20-26 September 2022 Lei Ann and Kia will present the creation born from their collaboration at the Fashion Hub created by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion.
