The course

In this intensive Fashion Design summer course, you will learn about both traditional and innovative methods of garment design with a creative and laboratorial approach, and the basic of pattern-making discovering how to create patterns for several types of garments.

The Fashion Design &Pattern-Making summer course covers the basics of design, research for market trends, digital illustration, fashion graphic design, pattern making, and tailoring. The course will be held in July in both Italian and English language and guided tours to Fashion Companies complete the program, so to offer you a first-hand experience on Made in Italy

This summer course is open to Italian and International students with little or no previous experience in the field, and it can be an introduction to further studies. Professionals who are already expert in the field can take advantage of a full immersion in one of the most important fashion districts in Italy, with visits to manufacturers and consultancy from Italian fashion representatives.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The course can represent a completion of a wealth of skills already possessed or a basis of the fundamentals in design and design of clothing items in a more structured path in Design / Pattern Making
