“Tuscania Festival” project

The organizers involved the students of Web & Graphic Design for the creation of a graphic installation that will embellish the facade of Palazzo Belvedere.

Tuscania Festival 2018: a great combination of art and music, a spectacular meeting place, a symposium of artists of all kinds.

The next 26 and 27 May 2018 the creativity festival of Tuscany will animate the streets and squares of the town center of Peccioli with musicians, performers, exhibitions, interactive installations, workshops and laboratories from all over Italy.

The Festival was born with the idea of becoming a great place for artistic aggregation structured to be appreciated and lived at the best both by the participants who will perform and by the many spectators.

Tuscania is not only fun and entertainment but is characterized by an important cultural soul. In the historic center of the event, inside the evocative Belvedere Palace, a great exhibition of art and photography.

Ma l’arte non sarà solo all’interno… With great pleasure for Istituto Modartech, the Tuscania organizers involved the students of the Web & Graphic Design Course, in a creative project for the creation of a graphic installation that will embellish the main façade of the building.

The students of the communication course were asked to create a work consisting of four panels 4 meters high and 1.5 meters wide. Maximum creative expression both from an aesthetic and a technical point of view to represent the “contrast“, a contrast between modern art and the medieval village, between modern creativity and traditional techniques.

A highly stimulating project that once again confirms the approach to teaching the Institute aimed at combining creativity, technique, practice and technology, enabling it to implement its own vision, style and personality in its creations; thus stimulating the creativity and talent of the students.

Istituto Modartech congratulates Serena Belluomini chosen by the Festival organizers as the best creative proposal.

I extrapolated the key elements of the Festival: location, art, food and music, and applying a polygonal texture realized with Illustrator I tried to enhance, through color, the contrast between the medieval village of Peccioli and the innovative strength of art

So Serena tells the creative process that gave birth to her creation.

We invite you to participate in the two days to discover the work of the Modartech student live and to enjoy the great event in one of the most suggestive frames of the Pisan hills.
