The Global Design Graduate Show, a global contest organized and promoted by Artsthread, is a digital platform for emerging artists and designers.
The third edition, in collaboration with GUCCI, reconfirms itself as an extraordinary network for the next generation of creative talents represented by 300,000 students in more than 130 countries from over 950 design schools. This year, 5489 students uploaded their projects on the @globaldesigngraduateshow platform and the jury, made up by fashion experts, selected, among others, Luca Nacci for the Fashion Accessories Textiles category.
THE CAPSULE COLLECTION:
DOGMA22 is a Fashion Manifesto: the key inspiration from which the garments come to life is the Dogma 95 cinematographic movement. A line increasingly distant from seasonality which dictates new rules for a more responsible fashion in which clothes must be wearable and last over time. A reinterpretation of vintage tailored clothes in a contemporary key between upcycling and craftsmanship.
