On February 18th, at the “Elements of Sustainability” fashion show, the outfits of the Modartech students will be presented at MICAM Milano
As part of the partnership between the Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda and MICAM, the leading international exhibition of the footwear sector to be held in Milan from 16 to 19 February 2020, the “Elements of Sustainability” fashion show will be organized, which will see the participation of all the schools of Piattaforma Moda.
The collective project named Modartech Collection – Contemporaneity and Memory represents the innovation of the fashion industry through the promotion of the encounter between creativity, territory, ancient craftsmen know-how, sustainability and performing technology.
The collection represents an example of research characterized by organic materials, prints with water based inks, nylon Made in Italy of high technical performance as impermeability, water repellency and breathability with physical and non-chemical activation.
A sustainable vision with applications using local Garfagnana wool, with a chain traceable to the farm where the sheep fleece woven by the students on ancient looms comes from.
